Through the Foundation the key needs are identified and charitable proceeds invested in various projects. These are varied and include:
    • Improved workshop facilities and tools at coastal and rural villages such as at Kiwayu island or with the Wasini Group UniquEco currently works with.
    • Improved educational opportunties both academic and skilled which are targetted at women/girls by working with UniquEco’s affiliates
    • Improved collection, sorting, organising and monitoring facilities of beach and urban waste.
    • Training provided to optimise production and capacity such as management, business, benefits of a clean environment and waste reduction.
    • Special clean up projects such as removing flipflop waste from notable marine sites i.e. Aldabra Island, Seychelles, Kiunga Marine National Reserve, Kiwayu, Kenya
    • Special educational and clean up activities such as Environment/Clean up days; Eco – Fashion shows; Eco-Artworks
    • Supporting sea turtle conservation efforts and sustainable fishing efforts along the East African coast.
