Through the Foundation the key needs are identified and charitable proceeds invested in various projects. These are varied and include:
Improved workshop facilities and tools at coastal and rural villages such as at Kiwayu island or with the Wasini Group UniquEco currently works with.
Improved educational opportunties both academic and skilled which are targetted at women/girls by working with UniquEco’s affiliates
Improved collection, sorting, organising and monitoring facilities of beach and urban waste.
Training provided to optimise production and capacity such as management, business, benefits of a clean environment and waste reduction.
Special clean up projects such as removing flipflop waste from notable marine sites i.e. Aldabra Island, Seychelles, Kiunga Marine National Reserve, Kiwayu, Kenya
Special educational and clean up activities such as Environment/Clean up days; Eco – Fashion shows; Eco-Artworks
Supporting sea turtle conservation efforts and sustainable fishing efforts along the East African coast.
